Local groups and charities with an  interest in the history and  heritage of the area meet regularly with a view to ensure growth and development which is sympathetic to the environment. Other groups facilitate enjoyment of the area or support community groups and events.

The Market Hall Trust

The small but impressive open fronted Market Hall in the centre of Crickhowell was built in the 1830s by the Duke of Beaufort and is being maintained by a Charitable Trust.

Crickhowell Garden Society

Crickhowell Garden Society (CGS) was formed in Feb 2020 when the local Horticultural Society and the Open Gardens Association were combined. Our primary focus is to organise an annual Flower, Veg and Produce Show and Open Gardens event which will raise funds for local charities and good causes.
