Jean Williams Foundation
Friday afternoons have become synonymous with a wonderful creative energy at the oriel CRiC gallery in Crickhowell. With the support of the Jean Williams Foundation, Jan Winstanley and Ann Notley have created the opportunity to celebrate and share in the skill of hand embroidery. Both are experienced and accomplished embroidery artists, with Ann a regular exhibitor at the gallery of stump work in which she recreates in stitch the abundance of wildflowers and insects that can be found where she lives on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is this skill that they both share with a great spirit of generosity in a welcoming, inclusive and encouraging atmosphere.
