The Crickhowell Resource and Information Centre (CRiC) situated in Beaufort Street adjacent to the Pay & Display Car Park.
CRiC is currently open 6 days per week (mon-sat 10.00am to 5pm) providing an information service for tourists and residents of the area, selling maps and publications and locally produced gifts and cards. CRiC has a WiFi enabled internet cafe serving Fairtrade coffee and tea and locally made cakes and icecream.
Upstairs the oriel CRiC gallery showcases art and craft of regional and visiting artists and makers. Exhibitions change every 8 weeks. (Covid 19 Update: the Centre is adhering to social distancing guidelines as advised by the Welsh Assembly Government.)
CRiC's conference room and office space are available to hire and CRiC provides office services, such as photocopying, laminating, typing, faxing etc.
The Centre also houses the Volunteer Bureau, Dial-a-Ride and the local Archive Centre. These have their own opening times.
CRiC is a gold awarded green tourism business and prides itself on sourcing locally produced and/or environmentally friendly products to run the business. CRiC’s green policies can be viewed below.
