Open all year round The Star Bunkhouse in the village of Bwlch is an ideal base camp for exploring the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.  You can expect a warm, comfortable stay in our family run bunkhouse designed for all lovers of the great outdoors. 

We have spacious bedrooms (including en-suite family room) homely lounge with wood burning stove, books and magazines, board games, free wifi, well equipped self-catering kitchen, large dining tables, cosy snug with extra seating, plenty of hot showers, drying room & laundry, BBQ area with picnic benches and carpark.

We can sleep up to 20 people in bunk beds spread over 6 bedrooms. We offer private bedrooms suitable for individuals, couples and small groups, or exclusive use for larger groups.  We are dog friendly by arrangement.  

The bunkhouse is situated alongside the Beacons Way long-distance footpath and we are across the road from the New Inn & Beacons Backpackers, popular with both locals and visitors, and well known for its excellent real ales, friendly atmosphere and great food.
