Beautiful self-catering shepherds hut in the Black Mountains near the Sugar Loaf, between Crickhowell and Abergavenny. Glamping at its very best!

Our traditionally designed shepherd's hut Caban Bryn Arw is situated in our separate garden (for your own use and not shared) very close to Abergavenny's dramatic Sugar Loaf mountain. Accessed from a quiet lane (no through road ) it is secluded and private but with the advantage of fabulous views over the countryside.

The hut has its own UV and sediment filtered spring water supply direct from the hill and a separate heated Ty Bach washroom and toilet (with a 'proper' loo) and shower. It is surrounded by oak decking, meaning you won't get your feet muddy!

There is a wood burning fire and electric heater in the hut, a fridge, microwave oven and gas hob and grill, an outdoor seating area with solar lighting, a barbecue and fire pit, and secure off road parking. We supply linen, towels, coffee and tea, fresh milk and biscuits. There are plenty of pots and pans and crockery.

A recently installed hot water system for the shower and outside washing up area gives you all the luxuries of home – and if you cannot bear to be out of touch with the outside world we have fibre WiFi to the hut – and plenty of power points.

You don't have to use the WiFi but it's there if you do!
