Capel y Ffin Church, Capel y Ffin

  • slide

Right at the top of the Honddu Valley – beyond Llanthony – lies the tiny hamlet of Capel y Ffin. here you will find two tiny churches, one of which is open to the public. It features a wooden gallery and ancient font and outside are two gravestones carved by the artist Eric Gill. He lived at the monastery, the remains of which can be seen across the valley from the church. It is now used by a riding school and for accommodation.

Further up the valley you will come to Gospel Pass, with great views into the Wye Valley.
