Beacons Farm Shop & Welsh Venison Centre

The Beacons Farm Shop is based at the family-run Welsh Venison Centre where we sell fresh, locally-baked bread, deli items, vegetables and our own venison, beef and lamb, plus quality local pork, poultry and a selection of other meat. Pop in to pick up everything you need for a picnic, barbecue or Sunday lunch!

And we also have a gift shop stocking beautiful items for the home and we sell our very own deer skin rugs and sheep skins too. Need a gift for a children’s party or a special little one? Try us for wooden farms, dolls house sets and other smaller presents for children. We also sell gardening sets, cake-making sets, barbecue utensils and picnicware too.

The Welsh Venison Centre is easy to find. We are just off the A40 in the village of Bwlch, half way between Abergavenny and Brecon in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.

The Beacons Farm Shop is about more than meat. Of course you can pick up a quality joint for your Sunday roast, or award-winning sausages made on the premises.

We’ve also got a small number of cafe tables at the Beacons Farm Shop. We serve delicious locally-made cake, tea and coffee to our visitors. Why not sit at one of the tables outside if it’s a nice day and enjoy the view or watch the deer, cattle and sheep roaming the fields, while you sip your coffee? Or you can enjoy a local ice cream when the sun is shining or a cold cider.

Our helpful, friendly staff are also ‘Ambassadors’ for the National Park with plenty of local knowledge to share with you.
