Accepting These Terms
Please take a moment to read the terms and conditions. Use of this website means that you agree to these. This document and the other documents that we reference below make up our Terms of Use which is a legally binding contract between you and CRiC (The Crickhowell Resource & Information Centre) This contract sets out your rights and responsibilities when you use visitcrickhowell.wales and orielcric.wales which is owned and operated by CRiC.
Shopping at visitcrickhowell.wales & orielcric.wales
a) You can place your order online via this website or by telephone on 01873 813665. Please note our phone lines are open 10am and 3pm, Monday to Saturday Orders placed on week days will be processed within 3 to 5 working days
b) Placing an order via one of these methods described above means that you are agreeing to buy the product(s) at the price stated subject to these terms.
c) After placing an order online, we'll send you an automatic email confirming the order. If we cannot process your order for whatever reason we will contact you either by email or phone to discuss order times, alternative products or the option of a refund.
d) CRiC reserves the right to cancel any sale and stop supply of products or discontinue the availability of any products listed on this website at our discretion. If your order is cancelled, a full refund of any monies paid will be made.
e) The price for each product includes VAT at 20%. While we always try to make sure our prices are accurate, mistakes do occur. If we find an error in pricing of any product, we reserve the right to change the price on your order to the correct amount. We will contact you as soon as possible with this information and you will have the opportunity to re-confirm the order or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically cancelled.
f) Delivery costs are calculated during the checkout process.
g) Please contact CRiC for details of international delivery.
Payment
a) Your order must be paid for in full before delivery can be made. Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card excluding American Express. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account before the despatch of your Goods or provision of service to you.
b) If paying by credit or debit card all your details are encrypted by Paypal payment processor. Please note for your safety we do not store or keep your credit card details at visitcrickhowell.wales or orielcric.wales.
Availability
a) We try to keep our stock levels as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee a product will always be in stock when you place an order - even if it says so on our website. If for some reason we cannot supply a product we will refund your account in full.
b) All products and art works are available while stocks last. If we are unable to ship a product to you straight away, we will let you know by email. You can either cancel your order or place it on backorder pending stock arrival.
Delivery
a) Visitcrickhowell.wales and orielcric.wales ships to destinations in the UK only.
b) Shipping to Europe and the Rest of the World is by agreement of the cost involved and may be liable for import duty taxes and you will be responsible for these. Please consult your local customs office if you are unsure about any charges you might incur.
c) You will be notified of the shipping costs during the checkout process
d) We use Royal Mail and a selection of commercial courier services to deliver your items for your order.
e) If an item is lost in transit, please allow 15 days before it can be officially classed as lost. This meets the terms and conditions set out by Royal Mail. If you think an item may be lost, please contact us via email or telephone and we will do our best to assist you. We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on visitcrickhowell.wales but we will not be held liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
f) CRiC cannot be held accountable for delay of delivery of parcels for reasons beyond our control, such as strikes, natural disasters, floods, epidemics, pandemics or failure of telecommunications networks.
Returns - 14 day money back policy
a) We hope that you are delighted with your purchase but we realise there may be occasions where you would like to return an item. If you would like to return an item, please follow these guidelines to make sure your return is dealt with as quickly as possible.
b) If you would like to return a product for whatever reason, please return it to us within 14 days in unopened and unused condition and we will refund you the full price for the product excluding P&P. The item along with packaging must be in perfect condition.
c) When returning goods, it is your responsibility to ensure the item is posted back and received in good condition. For valuable items we recommend you take out postage insurance to cover any loss or damage in transit. We cannot be held liable for any returned goods damaged during transit.
d) This does not affect your statutory rights.
e) Some other products may be exempt from our 14-day Money Back Policy above. Products will be clearly marked if this is the case. The returns period for these items will be limited to seven working days following delivery as per the right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations. You will be responsible for the cost of return in such circumstances.
f) This is in addition to your statutory rights.
How do I return an item?
a) You can return items to us by posting them back to the address below. Please include your name and address details and state whether you would like an exchange, credit note or refund. Pack the items back in the parcel, attach the invoice and send it back to:

The Distance Selling Regulations 2000
a) Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to the end of 7 working days after delivery of the goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to CRiC by letter sent to CRiC, Beaufort Street, Crickhowell, Powys, NP8 1BN or email to gallery@visitcrickhowell.wales giving details of the goods ordered and date received.
b) Please note you will be responsible for returning the goods to CRiC at your own cost.
c) The Distance Selling Regulations 2000 state that you must take reasonable care of the goods until they have been returned. Items must be securely packaged and sent with adequate insurance to cover any damages in transit. We recommend using a delivery service that requires a signature as proof of delivery. Items returned in damaged or imperfect condition will be returned to the customer.
d) CRiC will refund your account within 30 days for the full amount

Errors and omissions
a) CRiC makes every effort to ensure that all prices and descriptions quoted on its website are correct and accurate. In the case of a manifest error or omission, CRiC will be entitled to rescind the contract, notwithstanding that it has already accepted the Customer's order and/or received payment from the Customer. CRiC’s liability in that event will be limited to the return of any money the Customer has paid in respect of the order. In the case of a manifest error in relation to price, the Customer will be entitled to purchase the goods by paying the difference between the quoted price and the correct price, as confirmed in writing by CRiC after the manifest error has been discovered.
b) A 'manifest error', as the term is used above, means, in relation to an incorrect price, a price quoted in error by CRiC which is more than 10% less than the price that would have been quoted had the mistake not been made.
General
a) Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
b) If any provision in this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed severed from the Agreement and this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
c) Any waiver of a breach of this Agreement must be in writing
d) Any variation of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by a duly authorised CRiC staff member
e) The headings are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of this Agreement.
f) CRiC reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
Disclaimers
a) We or our Content suppliers may make improvements or changes to Our Web Site, the Content, or to any of the Goods, at any time and without advance notice.
b) Our Web Site contains links to other Internet web sites. We have neither power nor control over any such web site. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable in any way for the Content of any such linked web site, nor for any loss or damage arising from your use of any such web site.
c) In any claim against us our liability is limited to the value of the goods you have purchased in the contract which is the subject of the dispute.
Content and Intellectual Property Rights
a) Title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in the Content whether provided by us or by any other Content provider shall remain the sole property of CRiC and / or the other Content provider. We will strongly protect its rights in all countries.
b) Links to Other Websites: Our Site does contain a number of links to other websites and online resources that are not owned or controlled by CRiC. CRiC has no control over, and therefore cannot assume responsibility for, the content or general practices of any of these third party sites and/or services. Therefore, we strongly advise you to read the entire terms and conditions and privacy policy of any site that you visit as a result of following a link that is posted on our site.
c) You may not copy, modify, publish, transmit, transfer or sell, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display, or in any way exploit any of the Content, in whole or in part.
d) CRiC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms of Service. Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis.
