| About | More recently I have been exploring a new creative direction using the medium of silver metal “clay”, making jewellery and small 3D items. The putty-like material is rolled out into thin sheets which can be textured, shaped, modelled and assembled. When fired in a small kiln it is transformed into pure fine silver. My designs, as always, reflect the wealth of textures and patterns found in the natural world. The forms develop as I draw in my sketch book and each piece is individually handmade. |
