| About | Oswaldo Merchor has since his childhood had a strong desire to observe and contemplate wildlife. Born in Peru, he has lived in the UK since 1968 and has been encouraged to capture the beauty of British wildlife in his sculpture. Oswaldo has recently discovered the wonderful wildlife and landscapes of the Welsh borders and has joined forces with artist Tracy Newman to set up a studio near Monmouth. His main sculptural subject is birds with each piece skilfully crafted cast mainly in bronze and cold cast resin. |
