| About | Ali Edgson was born in Northern Ireland. She worked in IT for a Belfast bank before studying visual communication at the University of Ulster in Belfast. After graduating with a First, she and her husband Jeff moved to an old chapel in Llanishen in Wales where she enjoyed a successful career illustrating picture books. After this she wanted a new challenge and to escape tight deadlines and constraints of illustrations, so she began to paint. Inspired by landscapes around her home and in particular the beautiful expanses of the Usk Valley as seen from the Trellech Plateau. |
