The Red Lion, Llangynidr
Situated in the picturesque village of Llangynidr, the Red Lion invite all visitors to our welcoming pub and bed and breakfast. Everyone is welcome, including walkers, cyclists, children and dogs.
We are ideally situated for visits to the surrounding countryside, including the Brecon Beacons and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. We have three rooms to suit all visitors and lengths of stay. All prices include breakfast.

Traditional pub serving real ales – we provide a warm and hospitable environment for you to relax in. From quizzes to themed nights and live music, we ensure you are always entertained. Happy Hour takes place Monday to Friday between 5pm and 7pm with reduced prices on selected beers, lagers and ciders.
Other features include Sunday lunches – booking advised, open fire, children’s outside play area, games room, traditional pub games – shove ha’penny and darts and Sky TV. Over 60s lunches are available every Wednesday between 12 and 2.30pm.
