The Old Rectory Hotel, Llangattock

  • slide

The charming Old Rectory Country Hotel retains all the characteristics of an elegant country house whilst offering modern amenities and luxurious accommodation in twenty four en-suite rooms, and a family cottage. The hotel’s rooms range from standard singles to a luxury suite and the rates (£65 to £169 per room) include a freshly cooked full Welsh breakfast. The main part of the building dates back to the 16th Century, and was once home of the celebrated poet Henry Vaughan.

The Old Rectory is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, situated in a quiet location with ample free parking, but just a 10-15 minute walk, across fields and an old stone bridge to the pretty town of Crickhowell. The property also adjoins the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal with lovely walks in either direction along the towpath.

The hotel welcomes walkers and cyclists and fishing is available on the River Usk. Dogs are welcome in the bar area and in some of our ground floor bedrooms.

Fresh, locally sourced food is available in the restaurant and bar for both residents and non-residents. The hotel also has a private dining room for larger groups, and a function room making it a popular venue for weddings and conferences.
