MAISON50 warmly welcomes you to luxurious and relaxed self-entry letting rooms within a cool, recently converted Grade 2 Listed former bank building right bang in the CENTRE of Crickhowell High Street!

Each room in the chic MAISON50 B&B Apartment is individually designed offering effortless and stylish contemporary accommodation. Our room names reflect Wales but have been designed to keep the period features of the historic building whilst modernising into contemporary, deeply comfortable and relaxing accommodation.

The rooms at MAISON50 offer two liberty style B&B studios in the Apartment;  you can arrive and leave at your leisure with self-entry;  a delicious help yourself Continental breakfast  is included. 

The luxurious but quirky rooms have lovely comfy beds, beautiful, modern en-suite bathrooms  - with gorgeous ‘Bath House’ of Sedbergh scented products and fluffy white towels.  Furniture, furnishings and accessories have been chosen to create comfortable conviviality, cosy contentment and above all, relaxation with high-speed WiFi, Smart HD TVs and free NETFLIX for all guests.

MAISON50’s rooms are equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, kettle, electric egg-cooker, fridge-freezer, toaster, washing up facilities, cutlery, crockery, glassware.  Simple continental breakfast items, teas and coffee are freshly placed in every room for you to enjoy at your leisure aswell as the ability to using the rooms’ facilities to Chill That Bottle!  Dogs – with well behaved humans – may stay at MAISON50 free of charge - (dogs may not be left on their own in the rooms or courtyard).  All our doggy guests are provided with their own water bowl, a jaunty floor mat, a cosy blanket, poo bags and a HUGE jar of doggie treats!

Historically:  the MAISON50 building –  at 50 High Street, Crickhowell – was purchased from the nearby Glanusk Estate last century and was a Lloyds Bank until recently. The building has been completely renovated and restored with modern, eco-building and traditional craft methods – such as lime plaster – where appropriate. Existing materials are retained and up cycled and form original features and wall finishes – such as five (newly discovered!) original fireplaces, beautiful wide original Georgian floorboards, oak beams, reclaimed stone & brick walls and original plaster finishes. Quirky vintage furniture, GREAT showers,  FABULOUS COFFEE, high speed WiFi and NETFLIX – (obviously!),  makes MAISON50 the embodiment of cool, contemporary chic.

As an aside, MAISON50  is ALSO home to an unusual Artisan Lifestyle Interiors Store with a French style Courtyard and Café serving the BEST coffee around  - all within the Grade 2 listed building.  MAISON50 welcomes all in the Lifestyle Store and Cafe downstairs whilst remaining a home from home with the heavenly B&B guest rooms in the Apartment on the upper floors.

MAISON50 sits in the hub of Crickhowell’s fabulous high street – which is home to a mixture of independent shops, coffee houses, pubs, bars, butchers and delicatessens.
