The Grange, Capel-y-Ffin

Wonderfully situated in some of the most stunning mountainous scenery, The Grange is a friendly, family run establishment, which provides homely Bed and Breakfast, idyllic, natural camping, or glamping in our cosy pod or shepherds’ hut.

Accommodation is available to you if you wish to ride, go walking, cycling, or sightseeing, or one of the many other activities available in the locality, or if you are just accompanying those taking part in trekking.

Evening meal, breakfast and packed lunches are also available at the guest house, for those who are camping or glamping.

The Victorian farm guest house has a comfortable sitting room with log fire, and you’ll be happy to know we are TV free. This gives you a chance for quiet relaxation, book reading or happy banter about the days’ exploits.

In the dining room we serve country-style home cooking, three course evening meal and coffee, full English breakfast, and also provide packed lunches for your following day. Each bedroom is en suite with tea making facilities. There is also a separate bathroom, washroom and shower room.

We are a non- smoking establishment. Occasionally pets are allowed by arrangement.

The nearest shops are at the interesting and well known book town of Hay-on-Wye. At the market town of Abergavenny there is a larger selection of shops and also a leisure centre and heated swimming pool. Both ‘Hay’ and ‘Aber’ have a cinema. There are many castles and places of interest to visit. We offer private parking and there is local transport available by arrangement.
