The Red Lion is a traditional local pub with constantly changing real ales (we are in the Camra Good Beer Guide). We take pride in using local suppliers and fresh produce for our home cooked food – we provide a warm and hospitable environment for you to relax in.

Situated in the picturesque village of Llangynidr, we invite all visitors to our welcoming pub. Everyone is welcome, including walkers, cyclists, children and dogs.

Relax or stay at our traditional inn with friendly and welcoming atmosphere, real ales, home cooked meals, accommodation with breakfast, car park.

We host quizzes, themed nights and live music to ensure you are always entertained.

Other features include Sunday lunches – booking advised, open fire, children’s outside play area, games room, traditional pub games – shove ha’penny and darts and Sky TV. Over 60s lunches are available Tue, Wed & Fri between 12 and 2.30pm.
