The pleasure that we take in the first signs of spring is reflected in a new painting entitled ‘Spring Flowers’ by Crickhowell based artist Tim Rossiter. His many followers will be delighted to learn that this uplifting image is for the first time available as a limited edition print alongside a few other images.

Across the world, since the Russian invasion of Ukraine,  sunflowers as their national flower, are being displayed as a symbol of solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Artist Angie Lewin has created a screen print of a sunflower to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Publisher Art Angels will donate 100% of the wholesale cost of each card depicting this image and CRiC will be selling the cards with proceeds going to the Fund. Lee Wright is  among a growing number of artists, designers, makers and galleries  who are raising money for charities supporting relief efforts in Ukraine. He is offering to donate the proceeds from sale of a beautiful handprinted original 3 layer reduction lino print with 22 carat gold leaf. The print is available for sale in the oriel CRiC gallery at a reserve price, but it is hoped that the reserve will be exceeded to support this cause.

The Spring exhibition will be followed by the Crickhowell Open Studios weekend which will this year coincide with the Jubilee Celebrations 2 – 5 June and will include the Crickhowell Open Art Exhibition, an annual highlight in the gallery calendar.
